  • MTB Mining Ltd has invested heavily in road infrastructure that connects smaller settlements to larger villages. This development makes it safer for local taxis to transport passengers and products between villages, resulting in increased trade and improved economic opportunities. We continuously identify, assess, and implement new infrastructure projects with the potential to enhance service connectivity in rural areas.

  • We have donated 10 acres to local farmers and invested in an extensive agricultural project that has led to a successful harvest, providing much-needed income and boosting the microeconomy with locally farmed produce. By collaborating with communities to identify social needs and resources, we ensure that our investments in local farming reduce food costs, leading to a healthier, more energetic, and productive community.

  • MTB Mining Ltd is committed to the long-term educational development of the communities we serve. We are working to bring European teacher training to local schools and providing charitable donations of clothes, blankets, and books. Our goal is to ensure that the wealth generated by mining is shared throughout the community, benefiting future generations and meeting the long-term skills, human resources, and support services needs of the industry.

  • MTB Mining Ltd has also invested in the construction of a new hospital in a nearby village, with building works currently underway. This initiative will provide much-needed medical care, including safer pregnancies for young mothers, care for the elderly in remote mountain regions, and healthcare services for local villagers and MTB Mining Ltd personnel.

    We are in talks with a solar panel supplier and a leading London medical training hospital and are establishing a charitable foundation to provide medical equipment, supplies, beds, and to facilitate trainee doctors wishing to participate in charitable work in Tanzania once the hospital is completed. Additionally, we have invested in providing clean running water and wells for local villagers, transportation aid, and housing support. These initiatives help to foster social harmony, improve welfare, and encourage the development of a sustainable local economy.

    As a result of MTB Mining Ltd’s Road Investment Programme, villagers can now travel between settlements in half the time. Schools and classrooms will be better equipped and funded, enhancing educational opportunities for young learners. Finally, everyone in the community will benefit from access to cleaner drinking water, and the new hospital will provide essential healthcare for both the young and the elderly.
